Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract to purchase from us.

2. Products & descriptions

We work to describe products accurately, but specifications, colors and images are illustrative and may vary. Lumen output, IP ratings, beam angles and runtimes are typical values that can vary with installation and conditions. We may update products and specifications without notice.

3. Pricing & currency

All prices are listed in USD. We may change prices at any time before you order. Taxes and shipping, where applicable, are shown at checkout. If we discover a pricing error we may cancel affected orders and refund you.

4. Orders & acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it, and may limit or cancel quantities. A contract forms when we send an order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel orders we suspect to be fraudulent.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe and PayPal. Your card or account statement will show the descriptor ACCENTOUT. By paying, you authorize the charge for your order total including any taxes and shipping.

6. Shipping & delivery

Shipping terms, timeframes and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery to the carrier.

7. Returns, refunds & warranty

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns and Refund Policy. Products carry a limited warranty as stated on each product page (typically 18–36 months) covering manufacturing defects under normal use.

8. Installation, electrical & safety

Hardwired fixtures must be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with your local electrical and building codes. Improper installation can be dangerous and is not covered by warranty. You are responsible for confirming local code requirements and obtaining any permits.

Mounting & load-bearing: before hanging or mounting any fixture, confirm that the surface, fixings and supporting structure can safely bear its weight. Follow the included installation guide. We are not liable for damage or injury caused by inadequate mounting, unsuitable surfaces or failure to follow instructions.

Outdoor & weather use: install each product only in conditions matching its stated IP rating. Splash-resistant items are not submersible. Bring portable items indoors in severe weather.

9. Energy & performance claims

We describe features such as solar charging and LED efficiency in general terms. We do not make specific energy-cost-savings claims (for example, a guaranteed dollar amount saved). Solar charging time and runtime depend on sunlight, season, placement and weather and will vary. Any performance figures are typical values, not guarantees.

10. Intellectual property

The Accentout name, logo, site content, text and images are owned by us or our licensors and may not be copied or used without permission. Brand names of other companies, if referenced, belong to their respective owners; we do not imply affiliation.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it without permission, or use it for unlawful purposes.

12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Except where prohibited by law, the site and products are provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for defective products under Florida law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the site or products, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida for any dispute, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights you have where you live.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
